Cumbria Senior Women 2025 (2 caps)
Lydia started playing rugby in Belfast when she was 19/20 years old for Belfast Harlequins. Lydia played rugby on and off while at University in England and was often utilised in any position that needed filling as she was turning into a versatile and adaptable player. She joined Kendal Wasps at the start of the 2022/2023 season finding herself in the back line usually at centre but was also spotted at full back on the odd occasion. After a year in the backs Lydia moved into the backrow where her power is well utilised playing as a blindside flanker or No. 8 and occasionally in the second row.
Lydia's inclusion in the county set up in 2025 is a testament to her hard work and never give up mentality.

"Small group training has helped me as a player to refine the smaller and super important details of my skills. This included the nitty gritty ball handling skills such as thinking about my hand placement to catch the balls, Which leg to lead with on my catch and pass to body shape to create a solid scrum position,"
