About the Event
Home Grown Sports Development and Kendal RUFC are pleased to be partners with Kendal RUFC to be able to deliver the day as part of the #Homegrownrugby programme.
The day will run from 10am to 3pm each day and includes a range of rugby skills, activities and games all using the CARDS principles. Developing Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision making and Self Organisation; the coaching approach prepares players for life on and off the pitch. The participant will be working within their age groups as much as possible. This day is open Girls at who are secondary school and welcome all experience and abilities. Participants receive coaching from DBS cleared, RFU qualified Staff, headed by Founder of Home Grown Sports development and Head Coach of the Kendal Mens squads Garry Holmes.
All attendees need to bring a packed lunch (if not preordered), water-bottle and weather appropriate rugby clothing. This should include trainers as well as boots, shorts and tracksuit bottoms, warm tops, mouth guard, waterproof top, warm hat and sun cream (Some of this list may be subject to the weather conditions).
