Kendal RUFC 2 day Half Term Camp

Home Grown Sports Development and Kendal RUFC are pleased to be partners and to deliver Kendal RUFC Rugby Camp as part of the #Homegrownrugby programme.

The camp will run from 10am to 3pm each day and includes a range of rugby skills, activities and games all using the CARDS principles. Developing Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision making and Self Organisation; the coaching approach prepares players for life on and off the pitch. The participant will be working within their age groups as much as possible. They are open to ages U7 - U14 (Current Year 2 - Year 9) and welcome all abilities. Camp participants receive five hours of coaching from DBS cleared, headed by Founder of Home Grown Sports development and Player pathway lead coach for both boys and girls - Garry Holmes.

All attendees need to bring a packed lunch (if not preordered), water-bottle and  weather appropriate rugby clothing.  This should include trainers as well as boots, shorts and tracksuit bottoms, warm tops, mouth guard, waterproof top, warm hat and sun cream (Some of this list may be subject to the weather conditions).
