About the Event
This Christmas Home Grown Sports Development and Kendal RUFC are pleased to be in partnership to deliver the "Christmas Player Development Workshops" as part of the #Homegrownrugby programme.
Preparing for contact - 10am - 12pm
Prepare for contact after the long break from the pandemic. The session if designed to support players with how they can prepare physically for contact as well as develop their understanding of:
- Body shape
- Foot placement
- Body height
leading into the contact area
All staff are DBS cleared and RFU qualified, headed by Founder of Home Grown Sports Development and Head Coach of the Kendal Mens squads Garry Holmes.
All attendees will need to bring water-bottle and weather appropriate rugby clothing. This should include trainers as well as boots, shorts and tracksuit bottoms, warm tops, mouth guard, waterproof top, warm hat and sun cream (Some of this list may be subject to the weather conditions).
